沖縄が国内外向け新ビジネス創出の拠点として、県内ＩＴ企業の海外展開や海外ＩＴ企業との連携・協業によるビジネス創出を促進することを目的として「海外ＩＴ人材交流育成事業」を実施します。
具体的には、海外ＩＴ企業の経営者および技術者の招へいや、県内ＩＴ企業の経営者および技術者を海外へ派遣することにより、県内ＩＴ企業と海外ＩＴ企業間との人的ネットワークの構築を支援しています。
