顔認証ビジネス研究会では、マイナンバーカードの普及やコロナ禍における非接触の要望から、市場での用途が急速に広がりつつある顔認識技術を、地域のDXにどう役立てるかを議論するほか、デバイスメーカーとのアイデアソンを開催するなど、実装のアプリケーション開発を通じて地域や若いエンジニアの能動的な提案が可能となるよう手助けすることを目的に活動しています。
今回は、沖縄県那覇市にある「awabar okinawa」が顔認証決済システムを導入したことを受け、視察企画が実現致しました。地域5G研究会も共催で、セミナーでは5Gの活用事例をご説明し、5Gの導入や顔認証の最新技術を沖縄の産業でどう活用できるかを、沖縄県の現地の企業様と意見交換を予定しています。
また、沖縄県における「DX推進計画」の施策の現状と課題について、沖縄県ご登壇によるセミナーも併せて企画・開催予定です。
